P.E.A.C.E. People Everywhere Accepting and Caring Equally

Dear Parents/Caregiver,
When you sit back and think about your own days in school, can you remember times when kids were bullied? It would not be surprising if you can. Bullying is definately not a new concept, and is getting a lot of attention these days. Both bullies and victims of bullies have been around forever. What is new is the attitude that educators take toward bullying. What used to been acceptable, and seen as “kids will be kids” is no longer the attitude that is taken. We know that bullying is serious, which is the reason why we have created an anti-bullying program here at O.L.A.; it is called our P.E.A.C.E. Program. Our P.E.A.C.E.  program has aided our students while being faced with acts of bullying. The program has proven to be very effective over the past five years. Students know who to come to in the school environment when they need to report an incident, or simply want to talk with a P.E.A.C.E. member.

Our goal is provide a positive environment where everyone feels safe, accepted, and valued. The official 2011-2012 members of our P.E.A.C.E. Team are:

  • Mrs. Susan Antall
  • Mr. John Crawford III
  • Mrs. Lisa De Core
  • Mrs. Janice Kurtz
  • Mrs. Colleen Lull
  • Mrs. Patricia McGinty
  • Mr. Andrew Misch
  • Mrs. Jerilyn Oppenheim
  • Miss Christina Stark
  • Mrs. Karen Struhar
  • Mrs. Sally Lehane

We encourage you to contact any of the P.E.A.C.E. members if you have any questions or concerns.
God Bless!
