The OLA 8th graders are preparing for the next step in their academic journey- high school! They are learning about the importance of government and why citizens need to be informed. The reading program used in the 8th grade is literature based and challenges the students to apply what they learn to the world around them. Our 8th graders prepare for Confirmation, graduation, and high school during this final year at OLA. They set examples of Christian behavior through service to others, peer mediation, student council activities, and working with the second graders in the Big Brothers and Sisters program.
